A message of gratitude

I know…I know. I owe you a blog for our late June & July activities, which included: two camping trips, the Amador County Fair and lots of home renovation work.

We’re busy preparing for the following: our annual back to school party/1st year anniversary celebration, back to school lesson plans, to move out of our apartment, completing home renovations, and packing the kids and myself for our extended out of state trip in September.

Oh yeah, and my 1st ANNUAL 2-day appointment at Stanford at the end of the month.

Whew!  As you can see August is another event filled month for us.  But I definitely wanted to take the time for this message and to prepare this special video honoring God & my donor and her family during this time of year.

August 12th marks 1 year since my 1st donor heart was removed & replaced with another donor heart!  I received “the call” from Stanford on August 10th at 10:30pm to be at the hospital by 7:00 am the next morning.  I only know that my donor was a 16 year old girl, but not much else right now.  I hope someday to meet her family to be able to "thank" them in person. For now, I’m satisfied with a public acknowledgement of my gratitude.

Please enjoy this video of the last year in review-all made possible by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and my 2nd donor and her family. Click on the link below to view my video message.
